Now Hiring - Parts Sales Department Manager in Council Bluffs, IA

Vander Haag's, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a full time, leadership role as a Parts Sales Department Manager. The right individual must be a self-motivated leader with high personal goals and objectives. This individual will lead an experienced team of 7- 8 full time employees. This position is responsible to manage the day-to-day operations in both Parts Sales as well as our Shipping & Receiving team for this growing store location! 3 - 5 year’s experience working in sales and a leadership position is preferred.

An ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills as well as strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Prior experience working with parts inventory software is preferred. Having some mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required. We will invest in training and development for the right candidate.

Listed below are some of the responsibilities of the position:

• Supervising, motivating, and developing an on-site sales team
• Responsible for sales growth of the department
• Building long-term customer relationships
• Working effectively with other departments and Vander Haag's locations
• Selling new, used, and rebuilt heavy duty truck parts
• Assisting walk in customers at the parts counter
• Working with the service department for parts needed in the shop
• Taking parts calls by phone
• Managing inventory control processes
• Prospecting and cold calling on potential new customers

Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday morning by rotation.

Compensation: This position pays a base salary + commission that is paid each month. Base salary is dependent upon experience. Commission is based on total monthly parts sales within the department. Total estimated annual compensation will range from $85,000 - $110,000/year depending on experience level and total overall sales from the store location.
